Background Of Locatelli Moving
Annie and Tony Asche purchased Locatelli Moving and Storage from Al Locatelli in 1982. Annie ran and handled the office and estimates. Tony was in charge of the trucks. Together with their family (including their golden retriever, mascot) they provided moving services for Santa Cruz County and beyond for fifteen years. In 1997, Tony passed away from cancer. Annie has continued to develop the company. From the onset it has been her goal to provide top quality service to her customers and at the same time communicating with her crew and recognizing their needs. As a result, over half of our employees have worked for our company for over 10 years, some as many as 20. We are like a family and you become a part of our family during your move. We take pride in every move we make. In the rare event that there is a problem, we work hand in hand to correct it.
When Tony and Annie purchased the company it was very small in comparison to other United Van Lines moving companies. Over the last 25 years, Annie has developed the company into an honored and trusted mid size operation. She has done this with the help of her family and staff. She has great pride in what the company has become.
The result of our hard work has shown in the numerous awards that we have received for low claims, exceptional customer service and repeat business. These include the “Impact Award” for the last two years and top ranking for “Cargo Claims Prevention” for many years.
Our office and industrial department has also been proved be to top ranking. In the spring of 2008, we were chosen by University of California, Santa Cruz to perform the office moving for the McHenry Library. Over twenty movers were invited to bid on this move.
We were chosen for our professionalism, competitive price and ability to perform the job. This is just one of countless accounts that we service each year. References are available upon request.
Annie understands that moving isn’t easy. It ranks in the top three most stressful experiences in life. It is our company’s goal to help make it easier. Ironically, Annie lived in the same house for 28 years, until 2006. This experience has helped her help her customers. She is happy to share many helpful hints that she has learned over the years.
Annie and her staff would like to take the opportunity to introduce our company to you and to help you in every way, no matter what your moving needs are. When choosing a moving company, it is important that you have a moving estimator come to your house or office and evaluate your particular moving situation. Please call our office for a free, no obligation estimate.
